We can probably trace the origin of Alicia’s dense, undomesticated, primeval forest of a hair to her Class A Floridian roots:  the proud scion of a dynasty of carnies, deck-monkeys, blue-jackets, old salts and good timey seadogs of all sorts. This fine lineage might just have provided her with a lifetime’s supply of… restrained esthetics and uninhibited, hmm… sophistication. Cultivated, civilized, gentle and considerate – again, these are not words that describe her hair. But because she is like a noble refined ore, they do however reflect her thoughtful personality, as well as her apt demeanor with (1) delicate blossoms (2) experimental cornbread. Discerning Brooklynites may spot her riding her bike and wearing her hat – anytime, anyplace, and in any direction at all.
