Shipping

Sprout Home makes every effort possible to ship in an environmentally sustainable way. This includes reusing boxes from items shipped to us, buying only biodegradable cornstarch packing peanuts and reusing styrafoam packing peanuts. Your merchandise will be shipped using United Parcel Service GROUND. UPS 1-Day, 2-Day, 3-Day options are available. For orders shipped Standard Overnight, 2-Day or 3-Day express, please note that these are guaranteed for business day arrivals only.  Saturday is not considered a business day for expedited shipping. Orders placed after 4pm central time will not ship until the following business day. If UPS Ground is selected, your package will arrive approximately 5 business days after you place your order depending on your geographical location. In the event that a back order occurs, or if your order cannot be shipped in a timely fashion (one to two business days), you will be notified. Packages cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes, overseas or to APO addresses.

Please note UPS’s delivery policies. They will attempt delivery 3 times and if no one receives the package, they will hold the package at their facility for 5 business days. UPS will send you a notification regarding picking up your package. If no one comes to claim the package, they will return the shipment to the sender. If you are going to be out of town, please make arrangements to have your order sent to an alternative address. Sprout Home will not be held responsible to additional shipping charges incurred if packages are returned to our store due to customer absence.

Because of shipping restrictions we are unable to ship to all countries.  The customer is responsible for all duties, tax’s and third party billing in regards to all international orders.

Sales Tax

Sales tax will be charged for purchases shipped to the following states: Illinois, New York

Returns & Exchanges

At Sprout Home, we want you to be pleased with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may exchange, replace, or credit your purchase when it is presented in sell-able condition. All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. Credit card used at time of purchase will be credited for the return of product, shipping will not be refunded.

Chicago in-store purchases are only returnable to the Chicago store, Brooklyn in-store purchases are only returnable to the Brooklyn store.

All online orders are processed at our Chicago store location. Should you wish to return merchandise purchased from our Sprouthome.com website, follow the instructions below. Website purchases are only returnable via shipping items back or in person returns to the Chicago store.

Returns & Exchanges By Mail

For your protection, retain a copy of the original receipt. Pack the merchandise using the original shipping box or mailer. Enclose the original merchandise receipt in the shipment with your request of exchange, replacement or credit with description of reason. Ship to Sprout Home, Attention: Returns, 745 N. Damen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60622. Please include your phone number in case we need to get a hold of you to process your request. We highly recommend insuring the package. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the product(s) or proof of received return delivery.

Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged, you must report the damage to Sprout Home Chicago within 14 days of receiving your order. Please keep the original box and packing material with the damaged item in the event that UPS needs to pick up the box for inspection. Sprout Home will send out a replacement item if available or credit the amount of the damaged item.
