Staff Picks at Sprout Home
Winter is house plant season. Here are a few recommendations from our staff:
Greg likes the Neanthe Bella Palm, also known as the Parlor Palm. This plant has volume, and can make a statement in any room. It is drought tolerant and prefers indirect light. It’s luscious.

The Parlor Palm
Lai Chung favors the Clivia, as we just received some rather beautiful specimens. Also drought tolerant, the Clivia blooms a spectacular orange flower. It can flourish in low light, and once the bloom is gone, the unique foliage remains. The ones in the store are about to bloom. Come and get them!

The Clivia
Sarah loves the Monstera, which means “monsterous” or “abnormal” in Latin. The species we have in the store have impressive, jungle-like foliage with slender stalks. A part of the philodendron family, this plant is very easy to maintain in indirect light with weekly watering.
