Excuse me… There seems to be a plant in my drink
We have a lot of great drinking vessels here at Sprout Home, from the fancy design minded Pantone Mugs, to the fun and silly Panda Bear Mugs to Japanese Ceramic Twombly Tea Cups, and many many more. Lots of people come in and buy them from time to time, and comment that they now have ” a new favorite coffee cup. This makes us smile. But here’s the thing, we are crazy about potting up little plants into things that are not technically planters. You can plant just about anything, into just about anything, as long as you take the proper precautions regarding drainage material and watering carefully. If you want to plant a baby succulent into a coffee cup like we have done here, or into anything that does not have a proper drainage hole in it, you will want to put an inch or so of gravel in the bottom, and slow your roll with watering. I think little drinks often is better than a once a week mega watering. Here is a little photo journey about drinking vessels turning into planters.
Let us enjoy a nice refreshing drink.
Excuse me, there seems to be a plant in my drink.
No problem, plants are good for you, I’ll drink it anyway.
