We have been getting our Christmas Trees from the same two farms for the last 10 years. Balsam Firs and Fraser Firs. We offer Sheared and Naturals (un-sheared) of both varieties. From 4′ up to 16′. Just to name a few price points, you can scoop up a 5′ Sheared Balsam for $32.00, or a 7′ Sheared Balsam for $49.00. A Natural Fraser Fir that is 7-8′ tall…..$62.00! Too big for your apartment? 6-7′ Natural Fraser Fir is $54.00. We are a full service tree lot this time of year, bottom of tree trim up, and a fresh cut are a part of getting a tree at Sprout Home in Chicago. We will even tie it up onto your vehicle if you like, or put the little cute trees into your trunk.
We can deliver your Christmas Tree to you if you like (limited delivery range) so feel free to call us up or email for this option. We have several customers that just ask us to pick out a nice tree in the size range they want, and deliver it. We are pretty good at this. We are fully stocked up with many different types of seasonal cut branches for you to create your winter wonder looks. Our Fraser Christmas Trees have arrived, and our Balsam Christmas Trees are expected very very soon. We will post a Xmas Tree post once they arrive. In the mean time, clean out those planters that are flanking your front door, and come on into Sprout Home Chicago and get the goods. Many of these items will look very nice in your home as well, they don’t have to stay outdoors.

“Plant Pressing with Artist James Walsh”
James Walsh was born in Brooklyn, NY, studied literature at Hobart College, Geneva, NY and Oxford University, England, and currently lives and works in Brooklyn. His work comes out of a love for natural history, particularly the history of natural history. For the past three years he has been learning botany by identifying, pressing and mounting plants found in his neighborhood, which has resulted in two ongoing projects, A Flora of the Gowanus and the Index to Arctic Plants of New York City. He also is the author of two books.
