Here at Sprout, we’re accustomed to dealing with some fairly strange plants, but I’ve never seen anything quite like this Bat Orchid. This South American flower, also known as Coryanthes, grows on anthills in the wild. The petals are designed to lure in bees, trap them, and force them to walk through a tiny tunnel where they collect the flower’s pollen. Come by and check it out.

Recently, many Sprout customers have been asking about ladybugs. Well, they have finally arrived and they are quite adorable. In addition to being cute, ladybugs help to ward off common garden pests. One ladybug can eat hundreds of harmful aphids and mites in its lifetime. Stop by today and get your own bag of tiny garden assistants.
