We had a nice terrarium workshop last night, pretty fun! It is so great to see everyones different styles, woodsy, clean, packed, simple. And the choices of terrarium critters is always a funny one. A couple mail carrier figurines, a couple dogs, a rabbit. Love it! Everyone left with a new addition for their homes, and we like that.

working it out!

Teachers rule!

two amazing styles
super cool science type beaker, and you might not be able to see the Gator in the white planter, but it is way neato in the forest of succulents.
Variation, and scale…. Perfect
This in not just a jar, this is a new world. Nice work!
This rabbit has no idea its being stalked by a cute little pup….. run rabbit run.

Black Cat and Skeleton, the latest super ghostly Nyokkis. Stop in, or grab them at our site sprouthome.com
Nyokki means “grow, grow, and grow” and that’s what a Nyokki does. An adorable cast of original characters, Nyokkis are hand-made in Japan from glazed ceramic, shaped like an egg with little fabric legs. All Nyokkis are filled with a soil media and rye grass seed. Nyokki are easy to grow – seeds germinate and grass grows to full height in less than two weeks. Style Nyokki’s “hair” or cut it and watch it grow again!

We have serious terrarium fever over here at Sprout Home! We have been experimenting with lots of different styles and combos. And we even got a request to make table terrariums for a wedding! It was lots of fun playing with different plants, themes and tiny figurines. Definitely a fun idea for wedding displays! Check out our current creations below:
